Don’t little cute babies deserve the sweetest baby showers?!?!

What could be sweeter than a clouds baby shower?!?! Cuteness overload!!

When we began creating this project, we immediately chose gorgeous shades of aqua, blues and white that just blend perfectly together. These colours make this theme ideal for a boy or girl.

In this post, we focused mainly on the party favours but you could easily carry this clouds baby shower theme throughout the party decor.

I can’t tell you how much fun with this project! Most of us here at the Essential Packaging Store haven’t been to any baby showers in quite some time. This project gave us the opportunity to have some baby fun!

We’re super thrilled to share our creative ideas with you!

Let’s get started…

“Up in the clouds” baby shower favours-

When it comes to baby shower favours, the possibilities are truly endless!

For our clouds baby shower project, we decided to use homemade marshmallows for our favours since they look like little “clouds”.

If you’re thinking of making your own homemade marshmallows, here’s a recipe you might want to try.

Small favor packaging ideas-

Marshmallows are so easy to work with, especially the homemade ones. Once you’ve decided on your favor packaging, simply cut the homemade marshmallows to fit your packaging.

At the top of the photo are the cello bags with cardboard inserts in the bottom. These little inserts help the bag stand up straight, which is ideal for candies, chocolates and cookies. We measured the bottom of the cello bags and then cut our marshmallows to stack perfectly inside the bag. Just add some beautiful satin ribbon tied in a bow and you’re done!

On the bottom right side of the photo, we did up single marshmallow “cubes” in small clear boxes. These sweet little favours are the perfect size to put on tables at each guest’s plate. Don’t forget to add some of that fabulous satin ribbon!

Then, on the bottom left of the photo, we have a slightly larger clear box filled with a generous amount of marshmallows! These larger favors can be handed out to guests as they leave.

Large favor packaging ideas-

Sometimes favors can be small gift items that might be awkward or difficult to package. That’s when boxes, such as these white gift boxes, are the perfect solution. With removable lids, these boxes can also be reused after as small storage boxes.

Adding a customized tag and satin ribbon is all you need to make these favors Pinterest-worthy!

Another option for larger favours are gift bags. Luckily, these gift bags were thst just right shade of aqua that matched our clouds baby shower theme perfectly.

Just add a tag and some ribbon to the gift bag handles.

Some baby shower tips-

Remember, you want to carry your clouds baby shower theme throughout the entire party, from start to finish. You can do this by co-ordinating your invites, party decor, tags and favors.

Also, try adding your theme into items such as cake or cupcake toppers, garlands and even balloons. You’re only limited by your imagination so get creative!

By using 2 or 3 different colors for your shower, you can mix and match them in your decor and favour packaging, like we did in the photo above.
